EDL / UAF Demonstrations: Manchester Piccadilly Gardens; 10 / 10 / 09

Here is my shots of the EDL / UAF Demonstrations in Manchester Piccadilly Gardens on the 10 / 10 / 09. What I can say is that I have NEVER experienced such a photographic assignment such as this and NEVER have I seen the City that I love so much with all my heart like this.

Photographers say I'm no good???

The image that you all see above is an Ulstertower Photographic image which has recently caused a stir within a certain group of photographers with regards to a certain web site which I do use.

To keep this simple and easy for my readers to follow….. I am basically not just learning how shoot a camera but I am also learning how to edit images as well via the use of Photoshop. Now when I uploaded the above shown image on to a certain web site, it was then that I was automatically placed in front of a “blood thirsty squad of photographers” who basically laid into me and said that “My editing skills were no good and that I really needed to listen to them and learn from what they were saying to me”.

But my readers this is the funny part right here… I had also uploaded the same shown above image on to another web site which I do use and guess what?? Well the above shown image is now “SHOWCASED” in the Showcase Gallery of that web site. So what is going on??? First of all I’m told by Photographers on one particular website that “My editing skills are no good”. Then when I see my above shown image placed in the “Showcase Gallery” on the other website this then “Conflicts” with what the Photographers on the other website were saying to me.

Don't it make you sick to know ??

Don’t it make you sick to know ??

That you’re a Working Class Citizen who just has the unfortunate luck to be a British Citizen. Who does work every single hour that the Lord sends to earn an honest buck just to keep that roof over your head and put that meal on your table. You are giving no help what so ever for being a “Working Class British Citizen”.

So does it not make you sick to know that the “Non Working British Citizen” does in fact get more “benefits / rewards” for “Not Working” than you do for “Working” ? For example, if you’re a “Working Class British Citizen” then you must pay your own way in life I.e. bills, food, health care, dental care etc….

But now if you’re a “Non Working British Citizen” then you do not have to do anything except for watch a “Television Screen” all day long (NB: I bet over half of them Non Working British Citizens don’t even have a T.V. License, which again is yet another bill which the Working Class British Citizen must pay for ). Instead if you’re a Non Working British Citizen then the British Government does reward you for this kind of behaviour. For example, the British Government will give you Free Rent, Free Medical Care, Free Dental Care, etc… at the Working Class British Citizen’s expense, as it is their Taxes that the British Government use to reward the Non Working British Citizen for actually “Not Seeking Work”.

Again does this not make you sick to know ??

I WISH YOU NOTHING MORE THAN BEST WISHES GEORGE!! WHEN I VERY FIRST PUT THE LENS ON YOU MYSELF (NB: THE VERY FIRST IMAGE AT THE START OF THIS BLOG OR THE ONE THAT I GAVE TO YOU), IT WAS THEN THAT I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING “VERY SPECIAL” ABOUT YOU!! I'VE ALWAYS SAID IT GEORGE, YOU ARE “MANCHESTER’S MOST ICONIC STREET ARTIST”. I AM SO "VERY PROUD" OF YOU!!.... REGARDS GARETH aka ULSTERTOWER

Above: The very first image I ever shot of George Sampson, the funny thing is, is that I think that George Sampson thought I would not be fast enough to catch him whilst he done this pose? I remember the crowd letting out a loud cheer, once I had discoverd I had in fact managed to capture him in what appeard to be the speed of light.

Guy With Camera (NB: GWC)

Did you know that “GWC” stands for “Guy With Camera”? Did you also know that this abbreviation is used mostly by Photographers / Models within the Modelling Industry? In addition to this did you also know that the translation of a “GWC” is “any poser/creep with a digital camera pretending to be a pro/semi-pro photographer”.

Yes people this is what is going on within the modelling industry. The GWC is the “Female Models” worst hidden enemy. He purchases “Top Of The Range” Digital Cameras with accessories then sells him-self off to “Female Models” as being a “Pro/Semi-Pro Photographer. Any new hopeful female model wishing to break into the Modelling Industry can easily become a target / victim of the GWC. The GWC is a sly predator who promises female models High Quality Images for their portfolios to help them find work.

However the sad fact is that the GWC has “No Knowledge Of How The Camera Works At All!!”. Instead the GWC’s intentions is to instead get some “Indecent Images Of The Female Model Body, For His Own Self Gratification”. So please if you are a Female Model who does read this blog posting, then please do beware of the GWC.

Is street photography illegal in the United Kingdom?

This is a question that has been flying around the net for some time now. And the answer to this question is no Street Photography is not illegal in the United Kingdom, it is perfectly legal.

It is just that the Police and other Security Services are being 100% paranoid with Terrorism, and other things etc… So there, now you all know that it is 100% legal to take Street Photography images.

But if you are stopped by the Police, make sure that you are 100% open and honest about what it is that you are taking photographs of. This way they will leave you alone so you can go about your law abiding ways.
